FURTHER INFORMATION: It took us 4 and half hours of night trekking to reach the GOECHALA from THANSING to take the unforgettable snap of the amazing sunrise. We started at 12 midnight and reached the spot at 4:30 IST. They we witnessed the magic of nature when the first sunlight touched the peak and it became Golden. It was like a Midas touch from the mighty nature. We were surrounded by mountains like Kanchenzongha, Pandim, Koburu, Tenzinkham, and Goechala itself. The altitude is about 16,000 feet.
